dentistry for life

Hi, I'm Camila Orellana, a dentistry student from the prestigious and demanding university of Chile. The dentistry career is a career in health that is responsible for everything related to the oral cavity.

When I was in seventh grade, I decided that I was going to study dentistry. At the beginning, all of us felt that I was going to change my mind because I was too small according to them to know what I wanted, but my decision was getting stronger every time.Every time I went to the dentist, he was so nice and loving that I was more willing to help people than he was.

The year arrived in 2017 and with it the results of the PSU, I saw them nervous and seeing that it was in any university that taught the race gave me a very great happiness.

After that, I had to decide where to study, my parents wanted me to study in the university of Talca because of the proximity to Licantén. But I decided to go to Santiago to study at the University of Chile, because my best friends with whom I live came here too and because it are the best academically and because I want to be one of the best professionals and the tools are here.

The road so far has been difficult and quite stressful but satisfying because the race each time I like it more. It are has a lot of practice and manual skills, I think that's why I chose her.

My best trip

My most important vacations were two years ago, it was my study tour. We went to Bariloche with my classmates, parents and the teacher for a week. The first day we arrived in Argentina we went to San Martin de los Andes, then we went to Bariloche where we arrived at the hotel del Sol and went out to explore the city. The second day we went to an ice bar and chocolate factories where we bought and tasted the best candies. The third day we went to a complex with swimming pools and many games. 
On the fourth day we went to see lakes. The fifth day we went ice skating and looking for costumes for the night party. We went out every night to different parties and had an incredible time with my classmates, always after arriving we went to the kitchen because they were waiting for us with a lot of food (hot dog, hamburgers, drinks etc). They were amazing days where we joined as a group and we met each other. I would repeat this experience a thousand times more.

A country i´d like to visit

My favorite country is the USA, it is a very developed American country that has 50 states. It is a world power and has many attractions, that are why I would like to visit it. the place that I want to visit the most is “Disney world” that is in Orlando, because I could feel part of the stories I read and saw when I was little. I would like to study English because it is very necessary to know of this language, in that time I would have to live there I would like to know their culture and way of life, and if I like to settle there.
I would also like to travel to Germany, to know and visit my family that is there, to taste the famous German beer and its typical food, which they say is delicious. Living in this country could also be an option since their way of life is very relaxed, they only work 5 hours (that is beautiful).
Well, I just hope these dreams come true one day to get out of Chile and explore a new world.
